Grandkids coming

Tomorrow is the big day, I get to see two of the sweetest kids in the Pacific Northwest. Their dad is bringing them for a visit for a week. It will be fun to see him, too. Glad to finally be on spring break. Parent teacher conferences are very time consuming, the preparation. I do like to see the parents. I am very lucky, the parents of my students are involved in their kids' lifes. Kids tend to do better when parents are into what they are doing.
Yesterday we took the whole school to see Meet the Robinsons. It was a great movie!

This is my day:
Go to school at 7:45 a.m., stay at school until 9:00p.m. Got to see the moms and dads of great students. I love them all. I will miss them when they go on to 3rd grade. They make me laugh when they say things like, "If you committed murder on yourself, would you have to go to trial and maybe get the death penalty?" True story.
